GREEN JUICE

Ingredients:

  • 2 large green apples, cored and chopped

  • 4 stalks of celery, chopped

  • 1 cucumber, peeled and chopped

  • 1 cup spinach leaves

  • 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • 1 cup water (optional, for a thinner consistency)

  • Ice cubes (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:

    • Wash all the produce thoroughly.

    • Core and chop the apples.

    • Chop the celery stalks.

    • Peel and chop the cucumber.

    • Peel the ginger.

      Juicing Process:

      If using a juicer:

      1. Feed the apples, celery, cucumber, spinach, and ginger through the juicer.

      2. Collect the juice in a large pitcher.

      If using a blender:

      1. Add the apples, celery, cucumber, spinach, and ginger to the blender.

      2. Add 1 cup of water to help blend the ingredients.

      3. Blend on high until smooth.

      4. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large pitcher, pressing to extract as much juice as possible.

      Add Lemon Juice:

      1. Squeeze the half lemon into the juice and stir well.

      Serve:

      1. Pour the green juice into glasses.

      2. Add ice cubes if desired.

      3. Serve immediately for the freshest taste.

      Tips:

      • Storage: Fresh juice is best consumed immediately, but it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

      • Variations: Add other greens like kale or parsley for extra nutrients.

      • Sweetness: If you prefer a sweeter juice, add another apple or a small amount of honey or agave syrup.
